He imported a single engine plane from the UK, flew it over to Kenya and used it to supply transport services to a large security firm in East Africa. He also worked for the TU-Delft Roboswift UAV project as a flight control designer and test pilot.
Within High Eye, Marijn will focus on designing the helicopters and searching for distributors and agents around the world. He will be representing High Eye on all national and international exhibitions. Besides this he is a pilot for test- and demonstration flights.

Machiel is the son of the founder of the company and he was almost literally born between model helicopters. Before becoming a member of the High Eye team, Machiel owned his own model helicopter flying school and a model aircraft shop. Machiel is an excellent pilot with a wealth of experience in flying and building model helicopters.
In the past, Machiel worked as a dental technician for several years, which makes him very proficient in assembling the finest constructions.
